The December bellabox came full of goodies, which no I haven’t posted on. I received it a few days before Christmas and never got the time to post about it and with the January bellabox around the corner, I decided to just review both boxes together.
However, I must review the STYLondon eyeshadow palette in Bond. So in the December Bellabox everyone got a STYLondon eyeshadow palette. You were given the option of what one you would like. I sadly did not get the one I wanted. I wanted the Sloane but was given the Bond. Oh well.
The first thing I noticed about the packaging was it’s cute but incredibly thin, almost cheap so to say. It kind of reminded me of a child’s eyeshadow palette so I did not have high hopes.
Another thing that bothered me is that none of the shadows had names. I love the names of eyeshadows they amuse me but STYLondon denied me that privilege. The colours, however, were cute. There was a nice range of matte and shimmers which made me excited. I was hoping for more colour but I received the natural palette I believe.
I found the darker colours to be very nice. On the palette they did have a lot of falls out and using a brush did make it difficult to pick up some colour which made me annoyed. Frustrated but not ready to give up, I ended up using my fingers to apply to the lids. I found it worked really well!
I found them easily blendable and the shimmers are very pigmented if you press them onto your eyelids with your fingers. I really liked the colours. Below are the swatches of all the colours. A lot of them came up easily but the lighter ones don’t really show up, making them a good base.
Would I buy it again?I’d love to BUT I can’t find it online ANYWHERE. I found this eyeshadow to be amazing despite its cheap packaging. I really hope that STYLondon starts to sell these on their website cause I’d love to try the Salone!
That’s all from me.
Until next time my lovely’s!
