Recently I went to visit my local spa for a well needed facial. I was told that the exfoliator I’m using was doing more harm than good. To be fair I was using coffee grounds from Frank body scrub. It was quite rough.
That’s when they recommended me La Therapie Cream Gommage Eclat Active advance Face Polish. It’s a mouthful hey. My therapist told me that not only is it good for exfoliating but you can leave it on like a face mask, and it will also help me with my red scarring. Wow, that’s a lot of promises. I bought it anyways.
When I got home I did some googling. Its funny there is no website for La therapies and I’ve never heard about them which made me kind of worried. I mean it was only $30 but what did I get myself into!
Being brave and putting full trust in my therapist I gave it a go. AND MAN OH MAN IS IT GOOD. It’s a double whammy or triple should I say. You put it on. rub your face, let it sit, wash it off and BAM, clean, soft, dead skin free that makes your skin look brighter whilst reducing redness. I got to say I’m impressed.
It is a very creamy texture with little round balls in it to exfoliate. It has a faint floral smell which is really nice and doesn’t really have any feel when on your skin. The balls are hard enough to really exfoliate but soft enough not to damage your skin.
After doing some extensive googling…and reading of the box this product claims to be
“A rich, creamy cleansing facial polish to gently lift and exfoliate dead skin cells and impurities, revealing skin that is radiant and glowing with health.”
- Gently exfoliates and purifies the skin
- Encourages cellular renewal
- Cares, conditions and hydrates Refines clarity, texture and tone
- Leaves skin feeling silky soft, smooth and radiant
There is no mention of it actually being used as a face mask. It was just something that my therapist reccomended since it saves time. On the box, it says to follow with a Latherapie mask but I honestly don’t think that there’s really a need.
It is a bit of a disappointment though, the only ones I can find online are quite expensive, ranging from 50-100 AUD for the same product. Not having an actual website is a big disappointment which makes me wonder where the hell do you get it from!
That’s all from me.
Until Next time my lovely xxx
